Certification PAS 68
PAS 68 is a standard controlled by the British Standards Institute (BSI) and is the security industry’s benchmark for hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) solutions.
Certification IWA 14
IWA 14-1 is a standard based on the other two major impact testing standards: PAS 68 and ASTM. It is the most common standard you will find for HVM bollards and barriers to protect against hostile vehicles.
Crash test
This crash, carried out with a 3.5 ton vehicle, lasts less than 2.5 seconds. The vehicle loses a lot of speed in the first moments of the impact, being thrown upwards. The feet of the barrier enter under the vehicle, damaging the chassis, the axle and the tires, making the vehicle totally inoperative.
